Conversion Formula

New Sens = Old Sens × (Old Yaw ÷ New Yaw)

cm/360 = 360 ÷ (DPI × Sens × Yaw) × 2.54

PUBG to Fortnite Sensitivity Converter

PUBG uses Unreal Engine 4 (yaw=0.022), while Fortnite uses Unreal Engine 5 (yaw=0.5555). Since Fortnite's yaw is higher, the converted sensitivity number will be lower. For example, PUBG sensitivity 50 equals Fortnite 1.980.

Conversion Formula

Formula: New Sens = Old Sens × (Old Yaw / New Yaw) = 50 × (0.022 / 0.5555) = 1.980

Engine Differences

UE4 engine with custom integer sensitivity system, yaw=0.022.

UE5 engine with percentage-based sensitivity system. Yaw value is far higher than other games.

PUBG to Fortnite Important Notes

1

PUBG (yaw=0.022) and Fortnite (yaw=0.5555) have different yaw values. The conversion ratio is 0.0396. You cannot simply copy sensitivity numbers between them.

2

The sensitivity values differ significantly (less than 1/3). After conversion, verify the value falls within Fortnite's valid range (1–20).

3

Note: This tool converts hip-fire sensitivity only. PUBG has separate ADS (aim-down-sight) sensitivity settings that need to be adjusted independently in-game.

4

Before converting, ensure both games have Raw Input enabled and Windows mouse acceleration ("Enhance pointer precision") is turned off for accurate results.

5

After converting, practice in Fortnite's training range or casual mode for 15–30 minutes. Even with identical cm/360, different game visuals, frame rates, and movement speeds may feel slightly different.

PUBG to Fortnite FAQ

Q. What is PUBG sensitivity 50 in Fortnite?

PUBG sensitivity 50 equals Fortnite 1.9802. Calculation: 50 × (0.022 ÷ 0.5555) = 1.9802. At 800 DPI, this corresponds to approximately 1.0 cm/360°.

Q. Why are PUBG and Fortnite sensitivity numbers so different?

Because PUBG's yaw value is 0.022, while Fortnite's is 0.5555. The yaw value determines how many degrees of rotation each unit of sensitivity produces. Games with lower yaw values need higher sensitivity numbers to achieve the same physical turning speed.

Q. Do I need to change my DPI after converting?

No. Sensitivity conversion only involves changing the in-game sensitivity number. Keep your DPI the same. The conversion formula already accounts for yaw differences between games, ensuring cm/360° stays consistent at the same DPI.

Q. Can ADS sensitivity be converted between PUBG and Fortnite?

This tool converts base hip-fire sensitivity. ADS sensitivity is typically a multiplier of the base sensitivity, and different games use different multiplier systems that can't be directly cross-converted. After converting hip-fire sensitivity, manually adjust the ADS multiplier in Fortnite to a comfortable range (typically 0.7–1.0).

Q. What is the conversion ratio from PUBG to Fortnite?

The conversion ratio is 0.0396 (0.022 ÷ 0.5555). Multiply your PUBG sensitivity by this ratio to get the Fortnite equivalent. For example: sensitivity 20 × 0.0396 = 0.7921.
