Conversion Formula

New Sens = Old Sens × (Old Yaw ÷ New Yaw)

cm/360 = 360 ÷ (DPI × Sens × Yaw) × 2.54

Fortnite to Valorant Sensitivity Converter

Fortnite uses Unreal Engine 5 (yaw=0.5555), while Valorant uses Unreal Engine 4 (yaw=0.07). Since Valorant's yaw is lower, the converted sensitivity number will be higher. For example, Fortnite sensitivity 7 equals Valorant 55.550.

Conversion Formula

Formula: New Sens = Old Sens × (Old Yaw / New Yaw) = 7 × (0.5555 / 0.07) = 55.550

Engine Differences

UE5 engine with percentage-based sensitivity system. Yaw value is far higher than other games.

UE4 engine default yaw=0.07, so equivalent feel requires roughly 1/3 of the CS2 sensitivity value.

Fortnite to Valorant Important Notes

1

Fortnite (yaw=0.5555) and Valorant (yaw=0.07) have different yaw values. The conversion ratio is 7.9357. You cannot simply copy sensitivity numbers between them.

2

The sensitivity values differ significantly (over 3×). After conversion, verify the value falls within Valorant's valid range (0.1–1).

3

Before converting, ensure both games have Raw Input enabled and Windows mouse acceleration ("Enhance pointer precision") is turned off for accurate results.

4

After converting, practice in Valorant's training range or casual mode for 15–30 minutes. Even with identical cm/360, different game visuals, frame rates, and movement speeds may feel slightly different.

Fortnite to Valorant FAQ

Q. What is Fortnite sensitivity 7 in Valorant?

Fortnite sensitivity 7 equals Valorant 55.5500. Calculation: 7 × (0.5555 ÷ 0.07) = 55.5500. At 800 DPI, this corresponds to approximately 0.3 cm/360°.

Q. Why are Fortnite and Valorant sensitivity numbers so different?

Because Fortnite's yaw value is 0.5555, while Valorant's is 0.07. The yaw value determines how many degrees of rotation each unit of sensitivity produces. Games with lower yaw values need higher sensitivity numbers to achieve the same physical turning speed.

Q. Do I need to change my DPI after converting?

No. Sensitivity conversion only involves changing the in-game sensitivity number. Keep your DPI the same. The conversion formula already accounts for yaw differences between games, ensuring cm/360° stays consistent at the same DPI.

Q. Can ADS sensitivity be converted between Fortnite and Valorant?

This tool converts base hip-fire sensitivity. ADS sensitivity is typically a multiplier of the base sensitivity, and different games use different multiplier systems that can't be directly cross-converted. After converting hip-fire sensitivity, manually adjust the ADS multiplier in Valorant to a comfortable range (typically 0.7–1.0).

Q. What is the conversion ratio from Fortnite to Valorant?

The conversion ratio is 7.9357 (0.5555 ÷ 0.07). Multiply your Fortnite sensitivity by this ratio to get the Valorant equivalent. For example: sensitivity 1 × 7.9357 = 7.9357.
