Valorant to Counter-Strike 2 Sensitivity Converter

Valorant uses Unreal Engine 4 (yaw=0.07), while Counter-Strike 2 uses Source 2 (yaw=0.022). Since Counter-Strike 2's yaw is lower, the converted sensitivity number will be higher. For example, Valorant sensitivity 0.3 equals Counter-Strike 2 0.955.

Conversion Formula

Formula: New Sens = Old Sens × (Old Yaw / New Yaw) = 0.3 × (0.07 / 0.022) = 0.955

Engine Differences

UE4 engine default yaw=0.07, so equivalent feel requires roughly 1/3 of the CS2 sensitivity value.

Source 2 engine sensitivity is based on yaw=0.022, meaning 1 sensitivity = 0.022° rotation per mouse count.

Valorant to Counter-Strike 2 Important Notes

1

Valorant (yaw=0.07) and Counter-Strike 2 (yaw=0.022) have different yaw values. The conversion ratio is 3.1818. You cannot simply copy sensitivity numbers between them.

2

The sensitivity values differ significantly (over 3×). After conversion, verify the value falls within Counter-Strike 2's valid range (0.5–4).

3

Before converting, ensure both games have Raw Input enabled and Windows mouse acceleration ("Enhance pointer precision") is turned off for accurate results.

4

After converting, practice in Counter-Strike 2's training range or casual mode for 15–30 minutes. Even with identical cm/360, different game visuals, frame rates, and movement speeds may feel slightly different.

Valorant to Counter-Strike 2 FAQ

Q. What is Valorant sensitivity 0.3 in Counter-Strike 2?

Valorant sensitivity 0.3 equals Counter-Strike 2 0.9545. Calculation: 0.3 × (0.07 ÷ 0.022) = 0.9545. At 800 DPI, this corresponds to approximately 54.4 cm/360°.

Q. Why are Valorant and Counter-Strike 2 sensitivity numbers so different?

Because Valorant's yaw value is 0.07, while Counter-Strike 2's is 0.022. The yaw value determines how many degrees of rotation each unit of sensitivity produces. Games with lower yaw values need higher sensitivity numbers to achieve the same physical turning speed.

Q. Do I need to change my DPI after converting?

No. Sensitivity conversion only involves changing the in-game sensitivity number. Keep your DPI the same. The conversion formula already accounts for yaw differences between games, ensuring cm/360° stays consistent at the same DPI.

Q. Can ADS sensitivity be converted between Valorant and Counter-Strike 2?

This tool converts base hip-fire sensitivity. ADS sensitivity is typically a multiplier of the base sensitivity, and different games use different multiplier systems that can't be directly cross-converted. After converting hip-fire sensitivity, manually adjust the ADS multiplier in Counter-Strike 2 to a comfortable range (typically 0.7–1.0).

Q. What is the conversion ratio from Valorant to Counter-Strike 2?

The conversion ratio is 3.1818 (0.07 ÷ 0.022). Multiply your Valorant sensitivity by this ratio to get the Counter-Strike 2 equivalent. For example: sensitivity 0.1 × 3.1818 = 0.3182.
